We were in Santa Cruz with the cousins. They put herbed butter in the middle of the patties before cooking them on the grill. Tasty and juicy.

I put part of a bottle of Lowery's garlic and pepper steak and chop sauce in the crock pot with the meat along with the usually things, carrots, onion, water, bullion. It was really good. perfect for sandwiches.

Pork loin was on sale at Safeway for 1.99/#, but only if you bought a whole loin, all 12 pounds of it. I cut it in to 2# chunks and put it in the freezer.
